Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee said that in order to create a resettlement land fund to serve the implementation of projects in the province, in the period of 2025-2030, Dong Nai will implement 89 projects to build resettlement areas.

According to the Provincial People's Committee, the roadmap for building resettlement areas in the province will be divided into 4 phases. In 2025, 13 projects will be implemented to build resettlement areas. By 2026, construction will begin on 30 more resettlement areas.

In the period of 2027-2028, Dong Nai will build 24 more resettlement areas and in the period of 2029-2030, there will be 22 more resettlement areas.

According to preliminary calculations, the total cost to implement 89 resettlement area construction projects in the province is more than 10,300 billion VND. This total investment capital is calculated based on the total resettlement needs of localities and the construction investment capital rate, the total construction price of the structural components of the project in 2024 announced by the Ministry of Construction in Decision No. 409/QD-BXD dated April 11, 2025 announcing the construction investment capital rate and the total construction price of the structural components of the project in 2024.

According to the synthesis results of resettlement needs of localities and units in the province when implementing projects in the period of 2026-2030, the total resettlement demand in the whole Dong Nai province during this period is more than 47,000 lots, the expected area of each resettlement lot is on average 100m2 and the residential land area accounts for an average of about 45% of the land use structure of resettlement areas and urban areas.

Therefore, to ensure resettlement arrangements for people whose land is recovered, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province sets a goal of building resettlement areas with the total number of resettlement plots being greater than or equal to the total number of households affected when implementing the project.
