The Strawberry Project for the Health of Lam Dong Students Won the Encouragement Prize in the National Startup Competition

Dalat College displays startup products at the Festival

The contest is part of a series of activities for the 7th National Student Startup Day in 2025 (SV - Startup 2025) chaired by the Ministry of Education and Training, in coordination with the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City from April 18 to 20.

This year’s competition attracted 775 projects from students. This is also the first year that the competition has had the participation of vocational training institutions. The Ministry of Education and Training assessed this year’s startup ideas as high quality, diverse, and focused on solving social community issues.

Strawberry Manh Kha project – Strawberries for the health of Dalat College students entered the final round

As a result, 135 projects entered the final round; of which, 60 projects were considered for awards according to the groups of social impact business; industry; agriculture, forestry and fishery; education, health, culture, tourism; services, finance and banking. Of which, the Strawberry Manh Kha project - Strawberries for health in the field of Education, health, culture, tourism by author Nguyen Duy Khang - Class 1 of E-commerce College - Faculty of Economics, Da Lat College won the encouragement prize of the Competition.

The objective of the Strawberry Manh Kha Project - Strawberries for Health in Da Lat is to develop the agricultural sector, especially the cultivation of organic strawberries, ensuring safe and nutritious products for consumers. The project combines traditional and modern production, using modern farming technology to increase the yield and quality of strawberries.

In addition, the project also expands the agricultural tourism experience through direct and online tour services such as VR360 and the "Online Tree Planting" application, helping customers save time and costs while enjoying the experience of interacting with nature; contributing to job creation, increasing income for local people and promoting sustainable socio-economic development.

The project uses modern technology, focuses on developing a digital ecosystem, and is committed to creating positive values ​​for the community in terms of economy, society and environment. With a diversified commercialization strategy and plans to expand domestic and foreign markets, Strawberry Manh Kha promises to become a prestigious strawberry brand, contributing to enhancing the image of Da Lat tourism and agriculture on the international map.

This is not only the pride of the students and the faculty, but also affirms the capacity and progressive spirit of the school's students in the journey to realize entrepreneurial ideas".

It is known that after 7 years of implementation (2018 - 2025), the Contest "Students with startup ideas" has recorded impressive numbers with nearly 2,239 projects and startup ideas from universities; 4,598 ideas and projects from students of vocational education institutions; more than 1,299 projects from high schools and junior high schools nationwide.
