That is the consistent guiding viewpoint of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan in implementing and constructing key national projects passing through Bac Ninh province, aiming to speed up the progress of projects, open up new space and development space for the province, contributing to the early completion of socio-economic targets, becoming a centrally-run city before 2030.

The Ring Road 4 project, which passes through Bac Ninh province with a length of 35.3 km, is a vital route that not only increases the connectivity of Bac Ninh province with Hanoi and neighboring provinces, but also relieves traffic pressure on National Highway 18 and National Highway 1, promoting regional economic development. Clearly identifying that importance, in implementing the project, the province mobilized the participation of the entire political system, in the spirit of urgency, determination, "holding hands and showing how to do things" to bring the Ring Road 4 project, the section passing through Bac Ninh to the finish line 1 year ahead of schedule assigned by the Government and the National Assembly (to be completed before December 31, 2025).
Mr. Nguyen Xuan Duong, Director of the Provincial Traffic and Agriculture Project Management Board No. 2 - the investor, said: Bac Ninh is proud to be the leading locality in site clearance for the Ring Road 4 project - Hanoi Capital Region (passing through 3 provinces: Bac Ninh, Hung Yen, Hanoi city). Thoroughly implementing the direction of the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the investor requested contractors to build the critical road on schedule; mobilize all human resources, materials, machinery and equipment to simultaneously accelerate 33 construction points. Currently, the entire construction site including 3 packages No. 14, 15, 16 mobilizes about 400 officers, engineers, workers, laborers with about 125 machines, construction equipment in 3 shifts, 4 teams, ensuring the committed progress. The total construction value reaches nearly 40% of the project volume. At the same time, regularly issue documents to urge, check progress, and strictly handle contractors who do not ensure capacity, in order to urge construction while still ensuring technical quality, aesthetics, and construction safety.
In package No. 14, 10.8 km long, passing through the communes and wards of the old Thuan Thanh town, 12 construction teams are arranged, of which 7 are road construction teams, 3 are bridge construction teams, and 2 are drainage construction teams. The contractor is urgently constructing the asphalt concrete layer, having paved nearly 4 km/10.8 km. This is the first construction package of the project, accelerating to finish about 2 months ahead of schedule, creating momentum for other packages to compete. Mr. Tran Trong Toan, in charge of the route of package No. 14, belonging to Phuong Hoang Trading Joint Stock Company, said: The contractor has prepared enough human resources, materials, and machinery to immediately start construction of the remaining route when the site is handed over seamlessly, in order to highlight the capacity, quality, and progress when participating in the implementation of this national key project. At the construction site, the remaining packages 15 and 16 of the project are determined to reach the finish line as committed.
Regarding the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway project, although the section passing through Bac Ninh province is only nearly 4 km long, the province is directing relevant units to urgently implement it. Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan personally inspected and gave direct instructions at the construction site many times to promptly remove all difficulties and obstacles, speeding up the progress of the entire project. This is also the spirit and determination of the entire political system towards key national transport projects passing through the province.
Provincial Transport and Agriculture Project Management Board No. 2 was assigned as the investor of the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway project (passing through many provinces and cities such as Yen Bai, Phu Tho, Hanoi, Bac Ninh, Hung Yen, Hai Phong), the total length of the entire route is about 418.8 km; 18 stations and 13 technical stations are arranged; the total preliminary investment (phase 1) is more than 203 trillion VND. In which, the section passing through Bac Ninh province has a total length of nearly 4 km, the land area occupied is about 40.54 hectares, the starting point is in Chau Khe ward, bordering Hanoi city; the end point is in Song Lieu commune, bordering Hung Yen province; there is 1 Yen Thuong station in Yen Thuong commune, Gia Lam (Hanoi city) and Chau Khe ward, Bac Ninh province.
Currently, the investor is urgently coordinating with relevant localities to review and verify data and develop a plan for site clearance. At the same time, it is necessary to ensure consistency with the road connecting Gia Binh airport to Hanoi, meeting the criteria of "shortest, straightest, most modern and most beautiful" in accordance with the direction of the Prime Minister.
Previously, new foreign connection routes were invested in construction such as: Highway 37-Highway 17 Vo Nhai-Thai Nguyen connecting road; Dong Viet bridge connecting Bac Ninh province with Hai Phong city; Hoa Son bridge connecting Bac Ninh province with Thai Nguyen province...

With its prime location and geography - the gateway to the Hanoi Capital region, Bac Ninh is the bridge between Hanoi, Hai Phong and Quang Ninh, with a relatively synchronous transport infrastructure, becoming an ideal destination for investors. Therefore, the country's key transport projects passing through the province have created an additional "push" for regional economic development. Moreover, in the province's general development strategy, transport is always identified as a key breakthrough to turn Bac Ninh into an economic, industrial production, trade and service center of the whole country, where transport is the "backbone" to restructure urban space, forming new growth poles.

The upgraded, synchronous and modern transport infrastructure, directly connected to highways and seaports, and airports will be the premise for Bac Ninh to promote investment attraction in the fields of high-tech industry, logistics, trade and services, closely linked with neighboring provinces and cities such as Hai Phong, Hung Yen, Quang Ninh ... to form a large industrial - service - urban area of the North. This is an opportunity for Bac Ninh to participate more deeply in the regional value chain, increase import and export, and expand the product consumption market. At the same time, it is an opportunity to develop satellite cities, reducing pressure on central areas.
