The animated film project "Girls Who Changed the World"

The "She Creates Change" project is run by Room to Read and viewers can watch the films at www.shecreateschange.org.

“Girls Changing the World” is an animated documentary series that showcases efforts to build gender equality through six true stories of female students in Asia and Africa (Vietnam, Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Tanzania). Each episode recounts the journey of a female student who used life skills learned in Room to Read’s “Girls’ Education Support” program to overcome her limitations. In the series, Miss H’hen Niê voices Dewmini (a student with a climate-adaptive gardening project); singer Nguyen Duyen Quynh voices Naifat (a student who loves singing and pursues an artistic career); actress Lam Thanh My voices Diksha (a student who overcomes social prejudices); and designer Huynh Thi Cam Tien voices Kaya (a student who overcomes racial discrimination)…
