Component 2 project of Cao Lanh - An Huu expressway under construction during April 30 and May 1 holidays

Accordingly, comrade Nguyen Thi Thanh Phuong inspected the actual locations including: Intersection of Component Project 2 with Trung Luong - My Thuan Expressway and bridges: Rach Dao, Rach Ruong, Kenh Ranh, bridge over canal 307, intersection with Component Project 1 at Provincial Road 850; locations where wicks are being installed, loading and treating weak ground.

Comrade Nguyen Thi Thanh Phuong gave gifts and encouraged contractors to work "through the ceremony" at the intersection of Project Component 2 with Trung Luong - My Thuan Expressway.

During the inspection, representatives of the contractors in the consortium reported on the progress of the construction packages. At the same time, they pointed out some difficulties in the construction process, mainly in the source of construction stone materials.

In recent times, the consortium of contractors has made efforts to speed up the construction progress of the project items. Accordingly, the contractors have deployed 38 construction teams with about 400 technical staff, workers and about 180 machines and equipment on the construction site. To date, the construction volume has reached about 21%.

During the April 30 and May 1 holidays this year, the joint venture of contractors will organize construction "throughout the holidays" to speed up construction progress, ensuring the project is completed on schedule.

During the inspection, comrade Nguyen Thi Thanh Phuong acknowledged and praised the efforts of the supervision consultant and contractors in implementing the project. The units have overcome difficulties, and so far the project progress has basically met the planning requirements.

Kenh Ranh Bridge is the first bridge on the route to have its girder placed.

Regarding the source of construction materials, Comrade Nguyen Thi Thanh Phuong shared the difficulties that contractors are facing. She requested relevant units to study and find solutions to further accelerate the exploitation of sand mines granted under special mechanisms.

Units receiving sand sources to serve project construction need to speed up the receiving progress; proactively have solutions to receive sand sources as quickly as possible.

Contractors are focusing on burying and loading to treat weak soil.

Contractors need to proactively contact stone material suppliers to bring them to the construction site. Regarding the land for construction, contractors also need to be proactive early and from afar.

Comrade Nguyen Thi Thanh Phuong requested the contractor to speed up the construction progress at the intersection with Provincial Road 850 to ensure synchronous connection when Component Project 1 is completed by the end of 2025. Supervision consultants and contractors have plans to work overtime to further speed up the construction progress while ensuring the quality of the project.

At the same time, deploy solutions to ensure labor safety, environmental sanitation, traffic safety during project implementation...
