Folk art performances are held in districts, communes, villages and hamlets, demonstrating the diversity and richness of grassroots cultural activities in Thanh Hoa.

In Thieu Hoa district, the Center coordinated with the district's Department of Culture, Science and Information to organize classes to guide cultural activity models in residential areas.

Local people participated in large numbers, enthusiastically learning how to organize events, establish art clubs, and stage performances.

“I was instructed on how to organize a performance, each dance and singing movement. This is a very practical activity, helping us maintain the cultural and artistic movement in a professional manner,” said Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhuan, from Thieu Hoa district.

This program has been expanded to many mountainous districts such as Ba Thuoc, Nhu Thanh, Ha Trung, Vinh Loc, Muong Lat... with professional support from the Center's staff and actors.

The activity is within the framework of key projects for the 2021-2030 period on developing culture in remote areas and preserving folk songs and dances of Thanh Hoa province associated with tourism development.

In parallel with training at the grassroots level, the Center actively organizes provincial cultural events such as: The 20th Thanh Hoa Ethnic Culture Festival, traditional costume performance, Folk Arts Festival - Highland Market...
