In Ward 9, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Duoc visited and wished longevity to Mr. Bui Cong Ngoc, born in 1935, a 70-year Party member. Mr. Bui Cong Ngoc was the former Chairman of the Ward 9 Elderly Association for 3 consecutive terms.

The Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee expressed his appreciation for Mr. Bui Cong Ngoc's contributions to local activities. He affirmed that "Respect the elderly and wish them longevity" is a beautiful traditional cultural feature of the Vietnamese people. The elderly are valuable assets of society, a spiritual support and a shining example for the younger generation to learn from and follow. He wished Mr. Ngoc good health, a happy life, a long life and continued to inspire the community, actively contributing to the development of the locality.
Touched by the attention of the city leaders, Mr. Bui Cong Ngoc sent his best wishes to the leaders, hoping that Ho Chi Minh City will develop more strongly and comprehensively.

On the same day, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Duoc visited Mr. Nguyen Van A (commonly known as Tu Trung), born in 1935, retired military officer, 66-year Party member, residing in Ward 13.
Mr. Nguyen Van A joined the revolution at the age of 14, did international duty in Cambodia and retired in 1992. After returning to his hometown, he actively participated in neighborhood and union activities.
Here, the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee congratulated Mr. Nguyen Van A on his birthday and wished him to continue to live happily, healthily, and happily with his children and grandchildren, to be a spiritual support and a shining example for the younger generation. At the same time, he hoped that he and his family would continue to accompany and contribute to building the neighborhood and locality to develop more and more.
