Lady of Salt's real name is Nguyen Thi Nguyet Anh , born in 1280 (Canh Thin year) in Trang Quang Lang (now Trang Lang Dong village, Thuy Hai commune, Thai Thuy district, Thai Binh province) in a family working in the salt industry. According to legend, Lady Nguyet Anh often helped her parents make salt. However, every time she went to the fields, the weather was cool and cloudy, not favorable for drying salt.
