According to the Association of Traditional Vietnamese Arts and Culture in Japan (Betoraku), the MV Blue Light Yokohama is a work of art born from the love and respect that Kanagawa Governor Kuroiwa Yuji has for Vietnam, with the coordination of Kanagawa Prefecture.
The project has the participation of accompanying units including: Vietnamese Embassy in Japan, Betoraku Association and Hanoi University of Science and Technology Alumni Association in Japan (BKS).

Blue Light Yokohama is a song familiar to many generations of Japanese people. In the new version of the MV Blue Light Yokohama , the Governor of Kanagawa sings in Vietnamese - a gesture full of affection and sincerity, with the desire to accompany Vietnamese friends in spreading culture and emotions.
This artistic combination has contributed to spreading Vietnam - Japan friendship, honoring the cooperative relationship between Kanagawa - Yokohama province and Vietnam.

Blue Light Yokohama promotes the beauty of Kanagawa – Yokohama, with symbols such as Minato Mirai, City Hall, Yamashita Park, and the Vietnam Festival in Yokohama.
Information about the Vietnamese version of MV Blue Light Yokohama quickly attracted 1.52 million views after 2 days of appearing in Kanagawa newspaper.
