Signing BOT contract for investment project to build Dau Giay - Tan Phu expressway

On June 5, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Road Administration and the Truong Hai - Son Hai Transport Infrastructure Development Construction Joint Venture signed a contract for the Dau Giay - Tan Phu Expressway Construction Investment Project (phase 1) under the public-private partnership (PPP) method, build-operate-transfer (BOT) contract type.

This is the first project that the Ministry of Construction has organized a bidding to select investors according to the provisions of the PPP Law, and is also the first project that the Ministry of Construction has delegated and authorized the Vietnam Road Administration to directly sign contracts with investors and project enterprises. The project has a total investment of more than VND 8,400 billion, of which the investor's capital mobilizes more than VND 7,100 billion, the state capital to pay for site clearance costs is about VND 1,300 billion. The project construction period is about 24 months, the operation and business period is 16 years and 11 months.
