After nearly 110 years of operation, Ben Thanh Market has shown signs of wear and tear, affecting its aesthetic appeal. Therefore, the local government has repainted the four facades of the market in their original cream color.

After Ben Thanh market was repainted, foreign tourists and locals from all over came here to visit and take photos.

Huynh Thanh Son (24 years old, living in Nam Dinh ) said he had just traveled to Ho Chi Minh City with his friends.

As soon as you set foot in this Southern land, the first place you want to check in is Ben Thanh market "because this is the symbol of Ho Chi Minh City and old Saigon".

"This is my first time here. Unlike my initial thought that the old market would be old, it has now been painted so it looks very beautiful. I think this will also be an impressive place for tourists," Son shared.
