Expected to have 58 commune-level administrative units after the arrangement

Accordingly , after the rearrangement, Binh Dinh province is expected to have 58 administrative units (including 41 communes and 17 wards); reduce 97 administrative units (including 74 communes, 11 wards and 12 towns) , reduce 62.58% of commune-level administrative units.

After the reorganization, Quy Nhon City will establish 5 wards and 1 commune, including: Quy Nhon ward , Quy Nhon Nam ward , Quy Nhon Bac ward, Quy Nhon Tay ward , Quy Nhon Dong ward , and Nhon Chau commune .

After the arrangement, An Nhon town will establish 5 wards and 1 commune, including Binh Dinh ward , An Nhon ward , An Nhon Dong ward , An Nhon Bac ward , An Nhon Nam ward , and An Nhon Tay commune .

After the arrangement, Hoai Nhon Town will establish 7 wards, including Hoai Nhon 1 ward , Hoai Nhon 2 ward , Hoai Nhon 3 ward , Hoai Nhon 4 ward , Hoai Nhon 5 ward , Hoai Nhon 6 ward , Hoai Nhon 7 ward .

After the reorganization, Phu Cat district will establish 7 communes, including Phu Cat 1 commune , Phu Cat 2 commune , Phu Cat 3 commune , Phu Cat 4 commune , Phu Cat 5 commune, Phu Cat 6 commune, Phu Cat 7 commune .

After the arrangement, Phu My district will establish 7 communes, including Phu My 1 commune , Phu My 2 commune , Phu My 3 commune , Phu My 4 commune , Phu My 5 commune , Phu My 6 commune , Phu My 7 commune .

Tuy Phuoc district will establish 4 communes, including: Tuy Phuoc 1 commune , Tuy Phuoc 2 commune, Tuy Phuoc 3 commune , Tuy Phuoc 4 commune .

Tay Son district will establish 5 communes, including Tay Son commune , Tay Son commune 1 , Tay Son commune 2 , Tay Son commune 3 , Tay Son commune 4 .

Hoai An district will establish 5 communes, including Hoai An 1 commune , Hoai An 2 commune , Hoai An 3 commune , Hoai An 4 commune , Hoai An 5 commune .

Van Canh district will establish 3 communes, including Van Canh 1 commune , Van Canh 2 commune , and Canh Lien commune .

Vinh Thanh district will establish 4 communes, including Vinh Thanh 1 commune , Vinh Thanh 2 commune , Vinh Thanh 3 commune , Vinh Thanh 4 commune .

An Lao district will establish 4 communes, including An Hoa commune , An Lao commune , An Vinh commune , and An Toan commune .

The Director of the Department of Home Affairs also informed: According to the latest statistics, about 5,000 cadres, civil servants, and non-professional workers at the commune level will be reassigned after the arrangement and organization of administrative units. Of these, the use of about 1,900 non-professional workers at the commune level will end. On the other hand, 100% of the existing district-level payroll will be transferred to the commune level when arranging administrative units.

According to initial survey, the whole province has about 900 people wishing to resign when implementing administrative unit arrangement.

The arrangement of commune-level administrative units aims to promote potentials and advantages, expand development space of localities; ensure that commune-level authorities effectively manage the area, grasp the situation, stay close to the people and serve the people.

On April 17, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan issued a plan to collect voters' opinions and submit to People's Councils at all levels the Project to rearrange Gia Lai province with Binh Dinh province and the Project to rearrange commune-level administrative units in the province.

Accordingly, the work of collecting public opinions on the policy of rearranging commune-level administrative units will be completed before April 20, submitted to the People's Councils at commune and district levels before April 24 to complete the project to send to the Ministry of Home Affairs for appraisal, and submit to the Government before May 1.
