The Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee has just issued a plan to organize the "Quintessence of the Great Forest - Convergence of the Blue Sea" Festival in 2025. The event is expected to take place from August 29 to September 2 in Quy Nhon, with many unique cultural and tourism activities to promote the potential and strengths of the Central Highlands and coastal city.

The festival will take place at many locations such as: Nguyen Tat Thanh Square, Children's Park, Provincial Convention Center, Victory Square, Xuan Dieu Street and central streets of Quy Nhon.
The highlight of the festival is the opening program at 8:00 p.m. on August 29 at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square, with the theme "Aspiration for the blue sea - the shining great forest" , combining the introduction of the Central Highlands coffee and gong culture space, folk art performances and traditional product displays.
In addition, the culinary festival "Delicious dishes from basalt and sea" will open at 5:30 p.m. on August 29 at the Children's Park, gathering about 100 booths, introducing dishes made from ocean tuna in Japanese, Korean, European styles and traditional local cuisine . Along with that is an area displaying OCOP products, souvenirs and handicrafts.
Within the framework of the festival, there will also be a traditional art program taking place on two nights, August 31 and September 1, with traditional martial arts performances, tuong, bai choi, gongs of the Central Highlands, etc. In particular, a street festival with the theme "Colors of the sea" will be held in a parade on the central streets, connecting visitors to experience the vibrant festival atmosphere.
The festival ended with a light festival program at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square on the evening of September 2, instead of the closing ceremony.
