With nearly 605 historical relics, Quang Tri is considered a "living museum" of the revolutionary war, a locality with great potential for developing tourism . Among them, the outstanding relics are: Vinh Moc Tunnels and Vinh Linh tunnel village system, Hien Luong - Ben Hai banks, Truong Son National Martyrs' Cemetery and Road 9, Lao Bao Prison, Ta Con Airport, Quang Tri Ancient Citadel...
This system of relics has created the DMZ tourism product, reminiscing about the old battlefield and comrades, becoming an attractive brand for tourists. This unique tourism product helps Quang Tri become a bridge with neighboring provinces and cities for tourism programs such as: "Central Heritage Road", "Legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail" and other typical tourism programs and types.
In fact, in recent years, the tourism program "Reminiscing about the old battlefield and comrades" has attracted tens of thousands of visitors to the sacred land of Quang Tri every year. The province has also promoted and promoted tourism and successfully organized many unique revolutionary festivals, causing strong emotions not only domestically but also in the region and the world such as the festivals: "Unifying the country", "Paying tribute to heroic martyrs", "Releasing flowers on the Thach Han River"... Organizing cultural and artistic programs associated with activities to pay tribute to and commemorate the souls of heroic martyrs such as: "Epic song about a river", "Heroic motherland"...
In addition, the province has focused all resources, investing thousands of billions of VND to restore the historical relic system, upgrade and build martyrs' cemeteries and martyrs' memorial works in the area to better serve the needs of visiting, remembering and showing gratitude to heroic martyrs of the people nationwide.
Therefore, the number of tourists, especially veteran groups from all over the country coming to Quang Tri is increasing. Veteran Dang Dinh Luc from Nghe An province said with emotion: “Among the types of tourism, I really like nostalgic tourism. Because nostalgic tourism helps veterans return to the old battlefield, visit comrades, teammates and generations of fathers and brothers who fought and sacrificed heroically. This is a type of tourism that is full of emotions and always leaves unforgettable impressions.”
It must be affirmed that the tourism program “Reminiscing about the old battlefield and comrades” has made Quang Tri an impressive destination with its own unique and touching spiritual values. Many historical relics in the province have become spiritual destinations in the tourism journeys of people across the country.

For a long time, Phong Nha - Ke Bang, the mysterious and fascinating Son Doong cave, the blue Nuoc Mooc stream... have been favorite destinations of many tourists. At the same time, promote propaganda and promotion to enhance the position and image of the land and people of Quang Tri, build Quang Tri into a cultural space for peace, contribute to stimulating tourism to become a spearhead economic sector according to the Project "Master plan for tourism development in Quang Tri province to 2025, orientation to 2030" of the province.
