By the clear stream flowing all year round, visitors can enjoy a feeling of absolute relaxation after a journey of discovery .

All blend together to create a poetic and profound tourist picture, making Tu Le an unmissable destination on the Northwest tourist map.

2. Ideal time to travel to Tu Le

If you are planning to travel to Tu Le, the period from September to October is the most perfect time. This is the season of golden ripe rice, when the terraced fields winding around the mountainside are covered in a brilliant color, creating a spectacular and poetic scene. The space here brings a sense of peace, very suitable for visitors to sightsee, take souvenir photos and fully enjoy the natural beauty of the Northwest highlands.

During this time, Tu Le seems to be wearing a shimmering golden coat, stretching endlessly. Each step that takes visitors deeper into the ripe rice landscape is a time to clearly feel the harmony between humans and nature.

Besides autumn, you can also explore Tu Le at other times of the year:

Spring (February to April): Peach and apricot blossoms bloom all over the village. This is also the time when many unique cultural festivals of the Thai and H'Mong people take place, very suitable for those who love to learn about ethnic identity.

Summer (May to August): Although the weather is a bit hot, in return, you will admire the terraced fields in the flooding season - the time when the fields are like a mirror reflecting the sky, so beautiful it is heartbreaking.

Winter (November to January): The weather is cold, the mist covers the hillsides creating an unforgettable magical look. This is the ideal season for activities such as trekking, cloud hunting or enjoying peaceful moments in the middle of the wild mountains and forests.

3. Means of transportation when traveling to Tu Le

Choosing the right means of transport will make your Tu Le travel journey more convenient and complete, especially when this place has typical mountainous terrain and traffic is not really strongly developed.

3.1. How to get to Tu Le

  • Coach: This is a popular form of transportation from Hanoi to Tu Le. You can buy tickets at My Dinh or Giap Bat bus stations, with an average travel time of about 5-6 hours. Some bus companies also support pick-up and drop-off at Nghia Lo – the closest transit point to Tu Le.
  • Motorbike: If you are a lover of experiencing and exploring the Northwest route, then driving a motorbike yourself is a great choice. The route is about 250 km, passing through famous passes such as Khau Pha - where you can stop to admire the majestic beauty of the mountains and forests.
  • Private car: Suitable for groups of friends or small families, this option offers flexibility and privacy. However, you should carefully check the condition of the car and prepare a GPS because some roads into the village are quite difficult to travel.

3.2. Means of transportation in the area

  • Rent a motorbike locally: Most of the guesthouses and homestays in Tu Le provide motorbike rental services with prices ranging from 150,000 - 200,000 VND/day. This is a popular choice for easy travel to villages such as Lim Mong, Lim Thai or hot mineral springs.
  • Bring your own motorbike: If you travel by motorbike from the beginning of the journey, make sure your brakes, tires and chains are thoroughly checked because the rocky terrain in Tu Le is quite challenging.
