On the afternoon of July 15, at the branch of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP) in Vinh Long province, a signing ceremony took place to implement the entrusted lending for poor households and other policy beneficiaries between the VBSP and provincial-level socio-political organizations: Farmers' Association, Women's Union, Veterans' Association, and Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union .

The signing aims to unify the contents of coordination in the next phase, so that policy credit activities continue to be implemented synchronously and effectively, promptly meeting the borrowing needs of poor households and other policy subjects, contributing to ensuring local social security.
According to the provincial branch of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies, the total policy credit capital to date has reached VND14,440 billion, an increase of VND1,122 billion compared to the beginning of the year (a rate of 8.4%); including balanced capital from the Central Government, capital mobilized locally with interest subsidy from the Central Government, and entrusted capital at the local level.
Regarding the results of implementing the entrustment of policy credit programs, the entrustment activities through socio-political organizations after the merger had a total outstanding debt of VND 13,972 billion, accounting for 98.1% of the total outstanding debt. Specifically, the outstanding debt through the entrusted unions: Farmers' Association was VND 4,601 billion, Women's Union was VND 5,926 billion, Veterans' Association was VND 1,931 billion and Youth Union was VND 1,514 billion.
Currently, 100% of the People's Committees of communes and wards have documents approving the arrangement of commune transaction locations as before and have assigned security forces to ensure the safety of commune transaction activities.
