Along with Mr. Lien, many households in Ca Vinh hamlet also received direct support from officials, from civil registration and land registration to activating electronic identity verification accounts. The residents were guided enthusiastically and clearly, enabling them to proactively carry out the process in the future.
Mr. Thach Mit, Head of Ca Vinh Hamlet, said: “ Previously , people were hesitant to go through administrative procedures. But since the two-tiered local government model was implemented, especially with officials coming directly to people's homes, people are happy and find the procedures much simpler. In particular, they have directly processed benefits for the elderly, especially those with mobility difficulties. Thanks to this, the relationship between officials and the people has become even stronger.”
Established by merging the two communes of Hung Hoi and Hung Thanh, the new Hung Hoi commune has a large area, making travel for administrative procedures quite difficult in the past. To reduce the burden on citizens and avoid overloading the Public Administrative Service Center, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, in coordination with the People's Committee of the commune, has promoted online public services.
The model of officials going to people's homes to assist with administrative procedures has received high approval.
Mr. Dang Van Bac, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, shared: “The coordination work has yielded clear results, especially for the elderly, poor households, and the Khmer people. Regarding procedures for benefits for those over 75 years old alone, the commune has received and processed over 150 applications, along with many administrative procedures that had been pending for many years. Initially, there were difficulties, but thanks to the involvement of the Party Committee, the People's Committee, and the Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, the obstacles have been gradually resolved.”
From the above results, it can be seen that the model of officials going to people's homes to assist with administrative procedures in Hung Hoi not only brings convenience and reduces inconvenience, but also strengthens the people's trust in the leadership of the Party, the State, and the local government.
