Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Ho Hai urged the education sector to focus on overcoming difficulties and improving the quality of teaching and learning to meet the requirements of the new era.

This was the directive of Comrade Nguyen Ho Hai, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Ca Mau province, at the working session between the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Department of Education and Training (GD&ĐT) on the afternoon of May 26th.

Co-chairing the meeting were comrades: Pham Van Thieu, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, and Lu Quang Ngoi, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

According to the Department of Education and Training's report, the province currently has 756 educational institutions with over 396,500 students and trainees; the total number of administrators, teachers, and staff is over 25,500. The school structure is basically stable, management is being gradually reformed, and educational institutions are proactive and flexible in organizing teaching and learning.

The quality of education continues to be maintained and improved, as evidenced by the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam and the 2025-2026 national high school student excellence competition. Recruitment and personnel placement are given due attention; digital transformation in the education sector continues to be promoted.

Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Luan requested the education sector to expedite teacher recruitment for the 2026-2027 school year; improve the efficiency of investment in school toilets and clean water systems; and proactively prepare well for the 2025 High School Graduation Examination.
