Bringing joy to children in special circumstances.

On the occasion of International Children's Day, June 1st, 2025, on the afternoon of May 26th, a delegation from the Provincial People's Committee, led by Mr. Nguyen Minh Luan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, visited, presented gifts, and encouraged children being cared for and nurtured at the Ca Mau Provincial Social Protection Center and Special Education School; and the SOS Children's Village in Tan Thanh Ward.

• Sixty scholarships were awarded to underprivileged Khmer ethnic minority students.
• Completed the distribution of 800 gift packages to disadvantaged workers.
• A heartwarming visit, giving gifts to underprivileged children.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Luan emphasized that caring for children, especially those in special circumstances, is not only the responsibility of state agencies but also a shared task of the entire society.

At the Provincial Social Protection Center, Mr. Nguyen Minh Luan cordially inquired about the health and living conditions of the children; and acknowledged the dedication of the staff in caring for and educating the children over the past period. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that caring for children, especially those with special circumstances, is not only the responsibility of state agencies but also a shared task of the entire society.

On this occasion, the delegation presented gifts to 44 children who are being cared for at the center.

During a visit to the Ca Mau Provincial Special Education School, the delegation presented 244 gifts to the students. Comrade Nguyen Minh Luan expressed his hope that the attention from society would further motivate the students to strive in their studies and training, and confidently integrate into the community.

At the SOS Children's Village, the delegation inquired about the children's living conditions and studies, and commended the dedication of the staff, mothers, and aunts who have always loved and cared for the children as if they were family members.
