At the event, four in-depth topics were presented, including: robotic laparoscopic pancreatic surgery – a step forward from open surgery to advanced minimally invasive techniques; the role of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in diagnosing hepatobiliary and pancreatic cancers; minimally invasive thoracic and pulmonary surgery; and laparoscopic pancreaticoduodenectomy.

According to experts, robotic technology and minimally invasive techniques help improve surgical precision, reduce tissue damage, shorten recovery time and significantly improve the quality of treatment for patients.

The conference not only provided updated perspectives on the remarkable advances in modern medicine but also expanded professional cooperation between Vietnamese and Singaporean medical teams, contributing to bringing advanced surgical technology closer to people in the Central region.
