Regularly going to the Provincial Museum and Library to read books this summer, Bui Bao Nam, from To Hieu Ward, excitedly shared: During the summer, I go to the Provincial Museum and Library about 3 times a week. I often choose to read books for study and entertainment. Reading books helps me expand my vocabulary, increase my knowledge and relieve stress.

Ms. Le Xuan, To Hieu ward, said: I like to take my children to the reading spots of the Provincial Museum and Library. This is a useful and necessary activity for children to practice good reading habits, access knowledge through books and newspapers, and limit the time spent on electronic devices.

The Provincial Museum and Library is an ideal summer destination for students.

In the first 6 months of the year, the Provincial Library has added 140 types of newspapers and magazines to serve a variety of readers. Up to now, there have been over 3,200 people registering for reader cards and over 290,000 readers visiting the library. In addition, the unit continues to maintain the website www.thuviensonla.com.vn, gradually digitizing geographical documents, building an electronic book store, serving the needs of research and learning quickly and conveniently.

To encourage readers to visit the library during the summer, the Provincial Museum and Library also offers free library cards, rearranges reading spaces, and adds chairs and flowers to reading corners to create a beautiful, relaxing space that inspires readers. Not only stopping at on-site activities, the Provincial Museum and Library also proactively brings books to readers at the grassroots level through mobile library vehicles.

Since the beginning of the year, the unit has organized more than 40 mobile library trips to serve readers at the grassroots level. At the same time, it has maintained the effective operation of 25 branches, stations, and bookstores throughout the province and the bookcases of the "Wisdom House" model in groups and villages in the wards of To Hieu, Chieng Coi, Chieng An, and Chieng Sinh. Every Saturday evening, the Provincial Museum and Library also arranges a mobile library to serve readers on the walking street of Hoang Quoc Viet Street, Chieng Coi Ward, Tay Bac Square, and at the Provincial Youth Activity Center, creating a lively and intimate reading space.
