The program is expected to open up new avenues for promoting Vietnamese culture on digital platforms with modern thinking, youthful language, and an approach suitable for the technological age.

Running from June to early September 2026, the program includes two main activities: intensive training with experts, combining theoretical learning with field trips nationwide; and organizing a video creation contest called "Touch Vietnam 2026".

Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong assessed this as a practical and meaningful activity, demonstrating innovative thinking in connecting culture with modern technology and media; thereby contributing to promoting the formation of a healthy digital content ecosystem rich in Vietnamese identity on the internet, contributing to enhancing national competitiveness, building soft power and promoting the image of Vietnam to the world.

The program also aims to cultivate a team of young people who are technologically capable, possess modern thinking, are knowledgeable, responsible, and have a love for their national culture.

The cooperation program between the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and YouTube demonstrates a strong innovation: the State is not standing outside the flow of the digital content economy but is actively participating in guiding, supporting, and accompanying it.

Mukpim Anantachai, Director of Strategic Partnerships at YouTube in Thailand and Vietnam, stated that the program's goal is to empower a new generation of Vietnamese content creators who can combine historical depth with modern formats and new technological tools to create high-quality, impactful content in the digital environment.

Dr. Nguyen Tri Thuc, Director of the Center for Specialized Topics and Communication-Distribution of the Communist Magazine, sees the potential of this direction as very clear. Videos about culture can range from daily behavior, the beauty of family, workplace, and community to stories of preserving and promoting the value of national heritage.

If carefully crafted, sincere, and creative, these products have the potential to create a positive impact on social media, thereby spreading into real life and contributing to increasing the "green content" in the digital space.

However, he also frankly stated that, in order to sustainably form a network of high-quality cultural content creators, a systematic and long-term digital content development strategy is needed, and it cannot be limited to just temporary competitions or campaigns.

To build an advanced culture rich in national identity in the digital age, it is necessary to invest strategically in content creators, from funding and support policies to mechanisms for recognition and motivation for professional development.
