Duc Co focuses on Party building and rectification

Duc Co District Party Committee has 37 grassroots Party organizations with more than 3,164 Party members. During the 2020-2025 term, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee has thoroughly grasped and implemented new documents on inspection, supervision, and Party discipline enforcement to cadres, civil servants, public employees, and Party members. The District Party Committee's Inspection Committee regularly organizes professional training for cadres doing inspection work of grassroots Party organizations under the District Party Committee.

Mr. Pham Chi Dung - Chairman of the District Party Committee's Inspection Commission - said: "Party committees, Party organizations and Inspection Commissions at all levels have developed and implemented well the inspection and supervision program for the entire term. Timely direct the promulgation, amendment and supplementation of working regulations, regulations on coordination in inspection, supervision and Party discipline work; link the Party's inspection and supervision work with the inspection of the government, supervision of the People's Council, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations. Pay attention to directing and monitoring the overcoming of limitations and shortcomings according to the inspection and supervision conclusions of Party committees and Inspection Commissions at all levels".

Since the beginning of the term, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee has inspected 20 Party organizations and 24 Party members; supervised 8 Party organizations and 12 Party members; Party committees and Inspection Commissions at all levels have inspected 119 Party organizations and 2,245 Party members; supervised 50 Party organizations and 909 Party members; inspected signs of violations against 3 organizations and 16 individuals; resolved 7 denunciations and 3 petitions.

At the same time, issue plans and direct the implementation of resolutions to strengthen the Party's leadership in preventing and combating corruption and waste; inspect and supervise the implementation of resolutions of the District Party Committee at grassroots Party organizations and Party Committees of communes and towns. Inspect and supervise the declaration of assets of cadres under the management of the District Party Committee Standing Committee and those required to declare according to regulations; verify assets and income of 20 cases.

The enforcement of Party discipline has been carried out seriously, promptly, and in accordance with procedures and regulations. Since the beginning of the term, Party committees and Inspection Commissions at all levels have disciplined 121 Party members who violated the law, an increase of 39 cases compared to the previous term (10 cases were expelled, 3 were dismissed, 13 were warned, and 95 were reprimanded).

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Tuyen - Secretary of the Chu Ty Town Party Committee: The assessment and classification of the quality of collectives and individuals in the political system is carried out in accordance with regulations; the rate of grassroots Party organizations and Party members completing their tasks well every year is always over 85%. The Town Party Committee has reviewed, screened, and proposed to the competent authority to remove the names of 11 Party members according to regulations.

Secretary of the Ia Krêl Commune Party Committee, Ro Cham H'Lê, said: “During the term, the Party Committee and the Party Committee's Inspection Commission inspected 33 Party organizations and 21 Party members. The subordinate Party cells developed programs and conducted inspections of 261 Party members. Thereby, we promptly corrected the shortcomings and defects of Party committees, Party cells, and Party members; handled and proposed competent authorities to discipline 16 Party members who violated the regulations.”

Speaking to reporters, Mr. Pham Van Cuong - Secretary of Duc Co District Party Committee - said: Since the beginning of the term, Party committees and grassroots organizations have thoroughly grasped and implemented Conclusion No. 21-KL/TW of the 13th Party Central Committee and Resolution of the 4th Central Committee (12th term) on Party building and rectification and the political system, in conjunction with the implementation of Directive No. 05-CT/TW of the Politburo on promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle.

Resolutely prevent, repel, and strictly handle cadres and party members who have degraded political ideology, morality, and lifestyle, and who show signs of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation". Continue to improve the effectiveness of inspection, supervision, and enforcement of Party discipline. Focus on managing party members, reviewing, screening, and resolutely removing unqualified party members from the Party in accordance with the spirit of Directive No. 28-CT/TW of the Secretariat.
