Duc Trong: Consulting voters on the Project on Arranging administrative units at provincial and communal levels

(LĐ online) - The People's Committee of Duc Trong district has just issued a plan to organize the collection of opinions from voters representing households on the Project on Arranging administrative units (ADUs) at the provincial and communal levels in Duc Trong district.

Accordingly, the district will organize to collect opinions from voters representing households in the entire Duc Trong district on the Project to arrange provincial-level administrative units and the Project to arrange commune-level administrative units of Duc Trong district.

The purpose of this is to serve the People's Council meetings at all levels on the arrangement of administrative units at the provincial and communal levels in Duc Trong district to ensure publicity, democracy and compliance with legal regulations.

The collection of opinions from household representative voters will be organized in the form of household representative voter conferences in each village and residential group, to be completed before April 19, 2025.

Duc Trong District People's Committee requests departments and units under the District People's Committee, based on their functions and tasks, to closely coordinate with the Department of Home Affairs, relevant agencies and units and People's Committees of communes and towns in organizing the implementation of the content of collecting opinions of voters representing households according to the Plan.

On the other hand, assign the People's Committees of Lien Nghia communes and towns to fully and promptly disseminate information on the necessity of arranging provincial and commune-level administrative units in Duc Trong district. At the same time, direct and guide villages and residential groups to establish groups to collect opinions from voters representing households to ensure compliance with the prescribed procedures, processes, and progress and to follow the instructions of the Department of Internal Affairs.
