The Ducati Diavel V4 RS is the fastest production superbike ever built by Ducati, and MotoGP champion Marc Márquez took the Diavel V4 RS from 0-100 km/h in 2.5 seconds. The power of the new Ducati Diavel V4 RS 2026 comes from Ducati's high-performance engine called "Desmosedici Stradale V4" with 4 cylinders at 90 degrees; inspired by MotoGP racing engines, equipped on high-performance sports cars (Panigale V4 and Streetfighter V4).
The 4-cylinder, 1,103 cc engine block meets Euro 5+ standards. At the same time, the desmodromic valve system, Twin Pulse ignition and Sprintfilter P08 air filter have high permeability. Capacity 182 horsepower at 13,500 rpm with the rpm limit in 1st gear is 14,000 rpm. Power is transmitted through a billet aluminum STM-EVO SBK dry clutch, with a special spring and slipper configuration, providing smoother handling when braking and shifting. To reduce engine temperature when stationary, the rear cylinder bank is deactivated when the vehicle is in neutral and the coolant temperature is above 70°C. The Diavel V4 RS's electronic controller has three specifically calibrated power modes and four riding modes: Race, Sport, Touring and Rain.
Power modes include: High for Sport and Race modes with sharp throttle response, Medium for Touring mode with smoother throttle and Low for Rain mode (power is limited to 114 hp). The electronic control package includes new dashboard graphics with a distinctive start-up screen. When Race mode is turned on, the display will have an additional Track Infomode function (similar to the Panigale V4 and Streetfighter V4). The Ducati Diavel V4 RS 2026 has 3 levels of rider assistance systems - Ducati Power Launch (DPL), Wheelie control and Traction control will be automatically activated and maintained when the bike is in 3rd gear. To protect the clutch, the system uses an algorithm that allows a certain number of consecutive starts, which is reset when the driver uses the vehicle normally. Performance data is recorded for the 0-100 and 0-200 km/h runs, and is stored in memory along with a history of the best starts achieved. The Diavel V4 RS is equipped with Pirelli's new Diablo Rosso IV tires, measuring 240/45, which provide excellent grip when accelerating and good cornering grip. Ohlins provides the suspension with a 48mm NIX30 upside-down fork, along with a STX46 monoshock at the rear, both fully adjustable.
The Diavel V4 RS's braking system is taken directly from the Panigale V4 superbike, with 330mm diameter discs and Brembo Stylema monobloc calipers at the front and a single 265mm disc with Brembo floating caliper at the rear. The Diavel V4 RS is 3 kg lighter than the standard Diavel V4 (236 kg), thanks to carbon fiber and titanium components, along with the installation of a lightweight lithium-ion battery. In Europe, the Ducati Diavel V4 RS is expected to be available from December 2025, and other markets from January 2026.
