Rem Communal House in An Liem village, Tien Hung commune was recognized as a provincial historical-cultural relic since 2010. The Communal House is a place to worship three talented generals: Hue Cong, Nghi Cong and Thong Cong.
According to legend, during the reign of King Ly Thai Tong in Chau Hoan, Cuu Chan district and in the capital of Bac Dao Viet Chau Trang, there were three sworn brothers named Hue Cong, Nghi Cong and Thong Cong who were talented, both literary and martial. They did not go to school but their knowledge was far beyond their generation, and the local people wholeheartedly respected them. They were given the titles of Tham Nghi Trieu Chuong Chinh Su Dai Phu, Anh Nghi Dai Phu and Thong Hoa Dai Phu. After defeating the Champa invaders, the king assigned them to travel the world, looking for a place where they could build a temporary palace to help the king protect the border and educate and pacify the people. When they arrived at Rem village, Trang Lo Xa, Than Khe district, they saw that this place was a sacred land and a famous place. The three brothers ordered the soldiers and people to establish a temporary palace, educate the people, encourage farming, and bring many benefits, eliminate harm to the people, and exempt the people from taxes, duties and other miscellaneous services.
With their merits and virtues, the three were granted the title of “Great King Thuong Dang Phuc Than”. In memory of their merits, Lo Xa Trang Linh returned to build a temple at the old palace, which is today's Rem communal house, to worship. Since then, people in Trang Lo Xa and neighboring areas often come here to hold festivals, offer incense, and make offerings.
