• MOTIVATION FROM INNOVATION AND CREATIVITY
One of the key tasks identified by Lam Dong province in socio-economic development in 2025 is to focus on effectively implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation, creativity and national digital transformation. This determination has been concretized through the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee issuing an Action Plan to implement Resolution No. 57; at the same time, the Provincial People's Committee established a Steering Committee on science, technology, innovation and digital transformation development.
In order for Resolution No. 57 to come into effect, Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee requires units and localities to organize research and implementation seriously, extensively, regularly and continuously with the active and responsible participation of the entire political system and all classes of people. At the same time, it is required that the concretization of goals, tasks and solutions must be suitable to the characteristics of the situation and actual conditions of the locality; ensuring practicality and effectiveness. In particular, it is necessary to promote the combined strength of the entire political system and the entire people for effective implementation.
At VNPT Lam Dong (a member of Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group), Director Ho Quang Hue said: "With the effort to accompany people and businesses in digital transformation, in recent times, the unit has continuously increased investment in telecommunications - information technology infrastructure, while improving the qualifications and responsibilities of staff and workers". This is also a pioneer unit helping departments, branches and localities in the province implement the digital transformation plan when it has consulted on the construction and successful implementation of the Smart Operation Center model in 9/10 districts and cities in the province; IOC of the Department of Education and Training, Department of Construction, Department of Transport (now the Department of Construction); Traffic Monitoring and Operation Center of Da Lat City; pilot operation of the Land Management Information System in the entire Lam Dong province...
In addition, VNPT Lam Dong has designed and deployed public service kiosks for communes; consulted on building electronic medical records for medical facilities in the province; built and deployed Smart Medical Kiosks; successfully deployed electronic transcripts for schools from primary to high school in the province... In 2024, VNPT Lam Dong was awarded the First Prize for Outstanding Digital Transformation Unit of VNPT Group and was honored as "Typical Enterprise for Workers" of Lam Dong province.
At the Provincial Branch of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP), the model of "Building a model commune transaction point" implemented in recent years has been identified as a new way to serve people better and better. Lam Dong is also one of the first localities nationwide to implement this model. Up to now, the Provincial VBSP Branch has recognized 58/137 model commune transaction points. According to Mr. Nguyen Trung Kien - Deputy Director of the Provincial VBSP Branch: "The above model aims to inform about preferential policies of the Party and State, along with lending procedures and processes, and outstanding loans of borrowers right at the commune. The model not only helps strengthen the direction of local authorities and socio-political organizations at the grassroots level in inspection and supervision; but also helps borrowers save transaction time and use loans effectively".
In addition, the Provincial Branch of the Social Policy Bank also promoted digital transformation through opening Mobile Banking products and services, deploying paperless meeting rooms... 12 policy credit programs have been deployed for lending in all villages and residential groups in the province and prioritized lending to poor households, ethnic minority households, remote communes, and extremely difficult areas... Through policy credit capital, it has contributed to reducing the poverty rate of the province by the end of 2024 to 0.64% (down 0.45% compared to 2020).
The drastic and synchronous participation of the entire political system from the central to local levels, from ministries, branches to each implementing unit, Resolution No. of the Politburo has opened up new expectations for Lam Dong province; creating the main driving force for the province to develop quickly and sustainably.
The new Lam Dong province needs to clearly establish strategic breakthroughs and effectively implement important policies of the Party, especially Resolutions 57, 59, 66 and 68. The implementation of these resolutions must be synchronous, consistent and mutually complementary, becoming the driving force leading all aspects of development, from institutions to infrastructure, from businesses to people.

• STABLE MIND - READY TO MOVE ON
At the 11th Conference, the 13th Party Central Committee agreed with the Politburo's proposals and the Project on the Merger of Provincial Administrative Units, including the merger of the three provinces of Dak Nong, Lam Dong, and Binh Thuan into a new province called Lam Dong, and at the same time advocated the rearrangement of commune-level administrative units to build a government for the people, close to the people, and close to the people. On June 12, at the 9th Session, the 15th National Assembly officially passed the Resolution on the rearrangement of provincial-level administrative units in 2025. At this time, preparations for the operation of the new province are being urgently completed. In that context, the human factor plays a key role in creating internal strength with the locality to overcome challenges and join hands to build a more developed new province.
These days of June become special because this is the last time for the district-level Party Committee and government to complete their tasks before officially ending operations from July 1, laying the foundation for a new development phase. Ms. Nong Thi Ngoc Chinh (37 years old) - Vice President of the Women's Union of the town and an officer of the Office of the Party Committee of Da Teh town (Da Huoai district) takes advantage of every hour to urgently complete all work in time for handover. As a part-time officer, Ms. Chinh will retire according to regulations. No longer undertaking the job she has been attached to for a long time, she herself is a bit worried and anxious, but above all, she is ready to adapt and change direction to continue working, even in a new position, a different role. She shared: “I completely agree with the general policy of streamlining the apparatus to bring the country to new heights. As a party member, if I have to quit my job for the common development of the country, I am always willing. I am confident in my ability and hope that after the new commune-level administrative unit comes into operation, local leaders will create conditions for me to arrange work in the village so that I can continue to contribute.”
In the South of Lam Dong, after merging the three former districts of Da Huoai, Da Teh, and Cat Tien into one Da Huoai district, Ms. Vo Thi Le - a lecturer at the Da Huoai District Political Center, goes to work at 6:30 a.m. and returns home at 6:30 p.m., a distance of more than 80 km from Tien Hoang commune (former Cat Tien district) to Da Teh town. “The distance from home to the office is quite far, and my child is still young, so I was quite worried at first. However, as a party member, I always tell myself that in any circumstance, I must promote my role and responsibility, and not be afraid of difficulties or hardships. Therefore, I proactively made a plan for myself, prepared everything to adapt to the new time, new workplace, as well as to complete the housework. I am determined not to let one individual interrupt or affect the common work of the whole group,” Ms. Le confided.
Regarding the suspension of district-level administrative units and the rearrangement and reorganization of commune-level administrative units, Da Huoai district has more advantages than other districts and cities in the province. Because previously, the locality had merged 3 districts into the new Da Huoai district in December 2024. Comrade Nguyen Manh Viet - Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Da Huoai District commented: "It is easy to see that the end of the district level, the organization of the commune-level apparatus only changes the management apparatus, but the work and tasks still have to be completed. Therefore, the District Party Committee and People's Committee of Da Huoai District always thoroughly grasp at the meetings, especially the staff and civil servants must uphold their roles and responsibilities, and seriously perform their tasks. With high determination and close direction from the District Party Committee and People's Committee, up to now, the staff, civil servants and public employees are making efforts to carry out their work, ensuring no interruptions, especially in handling administrative procedures for people, collecting budget and disbursing public investment capital".
No matter what job or position they are in, they must always try their best to contribute, that is the common spirit that all classes of people always expect from each cadre and party member. Before the historical moment of the country in general and the three localities of Binh Thuan, Dak Nong, Lam Dong in particular with changes, fluctuations, challenges and new tasks, a strong political will will be the foundation for revolutionaries to be steadfast and steady. As General Secretary To Lam requested: "Must arouse the spirit of self-reliance, self-improvement, and the desire to rise up to become rich legitimately of the people"; "must put quality, capacity, prestige, work efficiency and the ability to perform tasks in the two-level government model as the highest criteria"; "The training and development of cadres in the transitional period must be carried out urgently, systematically, and closely following the characteristics of the newly merged localities",... A new era will begin with people who are capable, dedicated, and visionary, associated with the strong implementation of the content "Our Party is ethical and civilized" agreed upon by the Central Committee at the historic 11th Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee that just took place.
