The Vietnam Beauty Fashion Fest Ao Dai art program within the framework of the Ho Chi Minh City Ao Dai Festival 2025 took place on the evening of March 8.
Hundreds of Ao Dai designs converge on Nguyen Hue Street
New ao dai collections from designers Nam Tuyen, Dinh Van Tho, Le Long Dung, Dang Trong Minh Chau, Ngo Nhat Huy, Ivan Tran, Thu Thuy, Nhu Nguyen… were performed by beauty queens, runners-up, kings, and queens.
Nguyen Hue walking street was "transformed" by the director into a splendid outdoor fashion show, gathering hundreds of unique ao dai designs.
The sound and lighting systems also contributed to creating an emotional artistic space.
The highlight is the harmonious combination of traditional folk music and modern melodies, which further honors the ao dai and arouses national pride.

Designs that celebrate the desire to grow and develop
Designer Dinh Van Tho with the Thanh Xuan collection evokes the image of a radiant, vibrant youth.
Ngo Nhat Huy uses two main colors, white and red, to create the collection Radiant Oriental . The highlight is familiar motifs such as dragons, phoenixes, lotus flowers, and stylized clouds and sky.
Inspired by the image of the phoenix, designer Nhu Nguyen launched the Phung Vu collection.
Designer Dang Trong Minh Chau brings the Mam Song collection with many elaborate embellishments, gathering many artists to participate in the show.
Meanwhile, designer Ivan Tran's collection was inspired by the metro. There are also many other unique ao dai collections.
All the ao dai designs are presented by the designers in a variety of styles, from traditional to modern, from embroidery, painting to elaborate embellishments, creating a colorful fashion party.
