The 1.2 trillion VND coastal road connecting Lien Chieu port is still facing land acquisition issues.

The coastal road project connecting Lien Chieu port has a total investment of over 1,200 billion VND, of which more than 500 billion VND has been disbursed so far. However, the project is still facing land clearance issues.

According to the Da Nang Priority Infrastructure Investment Projects Management Board, as of September 14th, the coastal road project connecting Lien Chieu port has disbursed over 558 billion VND, reaching 46% of the total investment of 1,203 billion VND.

The capital plan for 2024 is 271 billion VND, of which over 148 billion VND has been disbursed; of which, central government budget capital is over 125 billion VND, and city budget capital is over 22 billion VND.

According to the management board, the project is progressing on schedule; however, there are still some cases where the land has not yet been handed over for construction.

To ensure the progress of construction and disbursement of the 2024 capital plan, which allocated 246 billion VND for construction, the Management Board has coordinated with relevant units to expedite land clearance.

The coastal road project connecting Lien Chieu port is currently under construction.

To date, 240 out of 255 land handover cases have been completed, and 287 out of 291 graves have been relocated. However, 15 cases still lack land handover and 4 graves remain. Additionally, there are 15 cases related to the drainage canal within the Hoa Khanh Industrial Park…

To ensure the availability of land for the construction of the Lien Chieu Port Coastal Road Project, the Da Nang Priority Infrastructure Investment Projects Management Board requests Lien Chieu District to promptly complete compensation and resettlement procedures and organize efforts to persuade households to hand over the land.

The coastal road project connecting Lien Chieu port has a total investment of over 1,203 billion VND; of which 500 billion VND comes from the central government budget, and the remainder from the Da Nang city budget. The project is expected to be completed and put into use in 2025.

The coastal road project connecting Lien Chieu port is approximately 2.963km long and has 6 lanes.

The project will construct overpasses at the intersection at the beginning of the route with the North-South railway and Nguyen Van Cu road (National Highway 1A), and an overpass at the intersection at the end of the route with the southern bypass of the Hai Van - Tuy Loan road tunnel, ensuring independent and non-intersecting traffic flows entering and exiting the port; construct bridges over canals according to the plan and build a new Lien Chieu bridge; construct an underpass for the road leading to Luong stream and an underpass for the internal road of Lien Chieu Industrial Park…
