Google says nearly 40% of successful account compromises come from phishing. Recently, cybersecurity experts have discovered a phishing campaign targeting Gmail users.
Hackers send fake emails with the subject “New Voice Notification” and a “Listen to Voicemail” button. Victims are taken through the legitimate Microsoft Dynamics platform and then redirected to a fake captcha page.
They will then see a fake Gmail login interface, designed to look exactly like the original. When you enter information, all passwords, 2FA codes and recovery emails will be sent to the hacker's server. Thieves can change passwords, lock accounts, steal data, and even take over Drive, Photos, and YouTube.
Google recommends that users only log in on official sites, enable two-step authentication, and not click on strange links. Dear readers, please watch more videos : Many scams from AI technology are on the rise | News 141
