Speed up disbursement to complete 100% of construction investment projects
At the working session on November 22 chaired by Mr. Le Van Trang - Chairman of the Board of Directors of EVNSPC, Mr. Nguyen Van Giap - Director of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Electricity Company - said that in the first 10 months of 2023, the total commercial electricity output reached more than 6,113 billion kWh, estimated for the whole year is more than 7,366 billion kWh.
In 2023, EVNSPC assigned the unit a revenue plan of nearly VND 13,131 billion. Up to now, it is estimated to have reached more than VND 13,602 billion, an increase of more than VND 471.2 billion (up 3.59%). Of which, electricity revenue increased by more than VND 431.4 billion (up 3.33%), reactive power revenue decreased by nearly VND 1.1 billion (down 8.66%).
Regarding the accumulated loss of electricity by commodity in the first 10 months of 2023, it was 1.67%, 0.09% higher than the plan assigned for 2023. The cumulative electricity collection rate up to October 2023 was 99.58%, an increase of 0.61% over the same period in October 2022.
Mr. Giap also reported on the difficulties and obstacles in production, business and construction investment, and proposed solutions and recommendations to resolutely complete the assigned targets in the last months of 2023; promptly resolve the project of installing 2 110 kV An Ngai - Long Dien district transformer stations to operate to supply electricity to Long Dien district; have a plan to deploy the 110 kV transformer station and connecting line at Sao Mai - Ben Dinh to supply electricity to Sao Mai - Ben Dinh oil and gas areas to promptly supply electricity for production in this area.
Mr. Le Van Trang praised the efforts of the leadership and employees of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Power Company to successfully complete the assigned tasks. At the same time, he requested the unit to quickly accelerate the disbursement progress to soon complete 100% of construction investment projects; strengthen the work of ensuring the safety corridor of the power grid to reduce incidents; arrange reasonable personnel in the work of merging power companies according to the province's district merger roadmap, salary work, labor productivity and strive to complete the economic and technical indicators well in 2023 for the common task of the whole EVNSPC.
Actively deploy the provision of materials and equipment for the project
Previously, at the working session with Binh Duong Power Company on November 21, after listening to the report, analyzing the operation, production and business situation and difficulties at the unit, Mr. Trang directed the functional departments of EVNSPC to coordinate and actively deploy the provision of materials and equipment for the project, review and guide the implementing units in registering the need for centralized procurement of materials and equipment, especially resolving obstacles at the 110kV Cong Xanh substation project to complete energization in 2023, investment projects to build medium and low voltage power grids in 2024 according to Decree No. 11/2010/ND-CP of the Government, providing metering equipment and remote measurement modems for effective remote measurement installation and exploitation....
Mr. Trang highly appreciated the production and business activities and implementation of the economic and technical targets assigned by EVNSPC to Binh Duong Power Company, and at the same time hoped that the unit would continue to perform well the business and customer service targets according to the assigned plan and strive to achieve a higher level than EVNSPC assigned, worthy of being a large unit in EVNSPC.
At Long An, Ben Tre, Kien Giang, Tay Ninh, Ca Mau, Soc Trang Power Companies, the working group assessed the overall production and business situation in the first 10 months of 2023, and deployed solutions to complete the production and business targets and construction investment for the whole year. Accordingly, the general assessment in the first 10 months of 2023 showed that most units encountered difficulties and obstacles in completing the targets assigned by EVNSPC regarding finance and construction investment. In particular, difficulties in site clearance compensation and slow disbursement of investment in projects in the area in the first months of the year affected EVNSPC's overall plan. The working group also analyzed and assessed the targets that each unit was likely to fail to achieve, thereby providing specific instructions to help the units and EVNSPC successfully complete the 2023 plan.
