Flick absent when honored as best coach of the year

Flick's Bild honour comes just a month before the Ballon d'Or ceremony in Paris, where Barcelona are expected to dominate. The likes of Raphinha, Lamine Yamal and Pedri were all heavily favoured in the voting, with Yamal emerging as one of the two frontrunners.

As for Hansi Flick, he is also a strong candidate for the title of “Coach of the Year” at the Ballon d’Or. However, his biggest rival will be Luis Enrique – the man who led PSG to their first Champions League title last season.
