State Treasury: National Day gift giving expenditure on September 2 reached more than 53% of the estimate

On the afternoon of August 31, the State Treasury (Ministry of Finance) announced that from August 30 to 4:30 p.m. the same day, the whole country had spent nearly VND5,700 billion on gifts for citizens on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, reaching more than 53% of the estimate (more than VND10,700 billion).

Of which, cash payment accounted for almost all with nearly 5,690 billion VND (99.83%), and bank transfer was nearly 10 billion VND (0.17%).

Notably, some localities have completed or exceeded the expenditure estimates such as Nghe An (112.8%), Thanh Hoa (101.48%), Da Nang (100.31%), Bac Ninh (100.02%), Lai Chau (100.23%). Localities with high expenditure rates include Hung Yen (99.96%), Quang Ninh (99.78%), Quang Tri (99.68%), Ha Tinh (98.62%), Lang Son (97.4%)...
