Many Northern universities consider additional admissions in 2025 from 15 points

For the first time in many years, Hanoi Medical University has announced additional admissions for 80 positions in the Social Work major. Specifically, the school will consider admissions based on the results of the high school graduation exam. Admission combinations include A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry), B00 (Math, Chemistry, Biology), B08 (Math, Biology, English). The threshold for receiving application files is from 17 points.

Candidates wishing to enter the school must submit their application directly from 8:00 a.m. on September 3 to 4:00 p.m. on September 12. The application includes a notarized copy of the high school graduation exam certificate and a copy of the foreign language certificate and national and international awards (if any).

The School of Business and Management, Vietnam National University, Hanoi announced the additional admission scores for the school's majors. Of which, the majors of Administration and Security, Non-traditional Security Management, Customer Service Management and Health Care all have an additional admission score of 19.

The Business Administration and Technology major has a benchmark score of 19.5, the Human Resources and Talent Management major has an additional benchmark score of 20.5.

Based on the high school graduation exam scores, candidates taking the high school graduation exam in 2025 must have a total score of 18.5 points in math + 2 random subjects + priority points according to regulations (or 17 points for first-generation candidates - the first person in the family including parents or guardians and all siblings to attend university).

With the method of considering transcripts, candidates need to reach the Top 50 (or Top 55 for first-generation candidates) of Schoolrank (look up rankings on the Schoolrank 2025 platform https://schoolrank.fpt.edu.vn) and at the same time have a total score of Math + 2 elective subjects (choose from: Literature, Foreign Language, History, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Economic Education & Law, Information Technology, Technology) of semester 2 of grade 12 of 21 points or higher.

Based on the competency assessment test scores, candidates need to achieve 78 points in the competency assessment test of Hanoi National University or 653 points in the Ho Chi Minh City National University.

For other subjects, the school applies a review method equivalent to the input threshold of the 2025 high school academic results (transcript) admission method.
