DNVN - On March 1, FPT Corporation announced the purchase of 100% of the capital of Next Advanced Communications (NAC) - a Japanese IT services company, doubling its customer base as well as its service portfolio and consolidating its position in this market. This is also FPT's first M&A deal in Japan.

The deal is in line with FPT's global expansion strategy and allows FPT to leverage NAC's experienced and specialized human resources in strategic consulting, architectural design, technology system planning, design, development and operations.

NAC also owns a team of nearly 300 high-quality engineers, many of whom are in the world's Top 40 in Salesforce, CRM... The additional resources from this deal help FPT ensure rapid and sustainable growth, while also moving closer to the target of 1 billion USD in revenue from the Japanese market by 2027 and having more than half of the employees here being foreigners.

The signing ceremony between NAC and FPT took place in Tokyo (Japan).

Faced with challenges in promoting digital transformation in Japan, including population aging, human resource shortages and the complexity of current IT systems, the acquisition of NAC demonstrates FPT's commitment to accompanying Japanese enterprises to take the lead in digital transformation and green transformation.

At the same time, this deal also helps the Group promote sustainable growth and enhance competitiveness, expand services to new areas, and meet diverse customer needs.

"Like NAC, FPT always strives to apply technology to solve various problems of organizations and businesses on a global scale, with the goal of creating a sustainable society for everyone. We want to develop a team of talented Japanese engineers and cooperate with local businesses to help customers maintain business continuity despite difficulties," said Mr. Do Van Khac, Deputy General Director of FPT Software, General Director of FPT Japan.

Mr. Naoto Yamazaki, Chairman of NAC, said: “I believe that joining the FPT ecosystem will continue to help NAC maintain high growth, while further enhancing the company’s capacity in the future. NAC and FPT will join forces to strongly promote business activities for the best interests of the community.”

Since 2014, FPT has completed many M&A deals in the US and Europe. In Japan, this number is quite small due to the difficult market. Therefore, the success of the first M&A deal in Japan has demonstrated FPT's strong, long-term commitment to this key market, and created momentum for the group to continue to promote mergers and acquisitions in the coming time.
