Oxford Quality is a collaborative program between Oxford University Press (OUP) and selected schools and educational institutions worldwide, all committed to improving the quality of English language teaching and learning according to international standards.
Oxford Quality Gold is the highest award in the program, recognizing outstanding educational institutions with a strong commitment to English language education.
Currently, only about 350 educational institutions globally meet all the criteria and are selected to become members of Oxford Quality. Of these, only 6 – includingFPT Schools, representing Vietnam – have been awarded Oxford Quality Gold certification, alongside organizations in Morocco, Chile, Peru, and Mexico. This achievement is even more significant as FPT Schools is currently the only K-12 secondary education system in Asia to achieve the highest certification in this collaborative program.
For students, collaboration within the Oxford Quality Gold framework opens up opportunities to access internationally recognized English language learning materials and programs, designed based on applied linguistics research and the CEFR standard. Students learn in an environment with consistent quality of materials, methods, and assessment.
In particular, students also have access to the Oxford Placement Test (OPT), which helps determine their exact entry level, and the Oxford Test of English (OTE) – an international English proficiency test based on the CEFR standard, developed by OUP and certified by the University of Oxford (UK), with results widely recognized in many countries.
Integrating these reputable assessment tools helps to track students' learning progress objectively and accurately, supporting teachers in developing learning plans that are tailored to the needs, goals, and abilities of each student.
This foundation helps FPT Schools students confidently participate in prestigious English exams, thereby opening up many opportunities for learning and development both domestically and in international academic environments.
For teachers, the Oxford Quality Gold certification provides access to in-depth professional training programs from OUP, including internationally standardized teaching methods, effective resource utilization, student-centered learning activities, and the application of technology in English language teaching.
