
This morning, June 3rd, the domestic gold market continued to fall by another 500,000 VND per tael, while the central exchange rate increased by 4 VND.
Specifically, at 9:00 AM, the price of SJC gold bars at Saigon Jewelry Company and Phu Quy Gold and Gemstone Company was trading at 154 million VND/ounce for buying and 157 million VND/ounce for selling, a decrease of 500,000 VND/ounce compared to the previous closing price.
Following the trend, the price of gold rings at Bao Tin Minh Chau also decreased by 500,000 VND per tael, trading around 154 - 157 million VND/tael (buy - sell). Phu Quy Company also listed the price at 154 - 157 million VND/tael (buy - sell), a decrease of 200,000 VND/tael.
Currently, the difference between the buying and selling price of gold continues to be maintained at 3 million VND per tael by gold trading businesses.
On the international market, this precious metal fluctuated around $4,475 per ounce, down $25 per ounce from the previous closing session. If converted using the USD exchange rate at Vietcombank , the world gold price is equivalent to approximately 142.4 million VND per tael. Thus, the domestic SJC gold price remains about 15 million VND per tael higher than the world gold price.
