Jesus faces an uncertain future at Arsenal after an inconsistent two years. Since joining the Gunners from Manchester City in 2022 for £45m, the Brazilian striker has suffered from poor form and injuries.

In the 2024/25 season, Jesus only scored 4 goals in 25 Premier League matches, causing Arsenal's board to consider selling the samba striker to create space for new recruits like Viktor Gyokeres.

Jesus' contract with Arsenal runs until June 2027, so the Gunners are ready to sell the player early this summer to avoid being in a passive state next summer. Jesus is also receiving a salary of more than £200,000/week at Arsenal, a fairly high income compared to the average of the team.

Newcastle, managed by Eddie Howe, are looking for a quality striker to bolster their attack after Callum Wilson is set to leave and Isak wants to leave, while Ange Postecoglou's Tottenham want to add depth to their attack, especially with Richarlison and Son Heung-min likely to leave.

Both clubs are said to be open to talks with Arsenal, with a fee expected to be between £30m and £40m, subject to add-ons. Newcastle and Tottenham are not the only clubs interested, with Serie A giants AC Milan and Inter Milan also interested.
