On the morning of May 13, Samsung officially introduced the Galaxy S25 Edge product line, marking a new step forward in smartphone design with a thickness of only 5.8 mm, becoming the thinnest phone in the company's S series.

The Galaxy S25 Edge has a square, minimalist design with slightly curved corners. The front is protected by Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2, while the back uses Gorilla Glass Victus 2, along with IP68 water and dust resistance.
The device has a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X perforated screen, 1,440 x 3,120 pixel resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, equivalent to the Galaxy S25+.
Despite its slim and light design, the Galaxy S25 Edge is still equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor with a 3nm process, similar to the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Samsung claims that this chip has been optimized to improve performance for Galaxy devices.
The device's battery has a capacity of 3,900mAh, supporting fast charging up to 25W. Compared to other versions, the Galaxy S25 has a 4,000mAh battery and the Galaxy S25+ has a 4,900mAh battery, which shows the trade-off to achieve an ultra-thin design.
The Galaxy S25 Edge's camera system includes a 200MP main lens and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens. The 200MP camera uses the same sensor as the Galaxy S25 Ultra, improving low-light photography.

The Galaxy S25 Edge also integrates the Galaxy AI artificial intelligence toolkit with outstanding features such as Now Brief and Gemini Live, which help display information on the lock screen and analyze photos to look up information.
In Vietnam, the Galaxy S25 Edge is priced from 30 million VND for the 256GB version and 33.5 million VND for the 512GB version, expected to be on shelves at the end of May.
The Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to start the trend of ultra-thin and light smartphones. According to many sources, Apple is also planning to launch a similar device called the iPhone 17 Air.
