According to many users on Reddit, some gamers have found a way to "bypass" the UK's online age verification law by using the face image of the character in the game Death Stranding 2.

As part of efforts to limit access to adult content online, age verification on UK services requires users to upload a selfie for facial analysis. However, under-18 gamers have been using the in-game face of actor Norman Reedus to trick the system, and it appears to have worked.

Thanks to the portrait mode in Death Stranding 2 made with top-notch graphics, players will get photos of the main character Sam Porter Bridges (played by Norman Reedus) with realistic lighting, diverse facial expressions, and even subtle aging effects.

On Reddit, another user shared that this method not only works with Death Stranding 2 , but also with games with hyper-realistic graphics like Death Stranding: Director's Cut, Baldur's Gate 3 or WWE 2K25 .

Death Stranding 2 - the latest game directed by "gaming legend" Hideo Kojima has received a "shower" of praise from critics.

Graphics are one of the game's big highlights. According to IGN , Death Stranding 2 has created a post-apocalyptic Australian setting with an incredibly realistic level.
