The exercise mobilized nearly 100 people, along with many vehicles and equipment for firefighting and rescue work. Mr. Lo Van Ngoan, Head of the District and Head of the Management Board of Hoang Lien Van Ban Nature Reserve, said that the hypothetical situation began at 9:30 a.m., when the Ta Nang village forest patrol team, consisting of 5 people led by a local forest ranger, discovered a fire at Lot 23, Sub-area 488, Ta Nang village, Nam Xe commune, Van Ban district.
Immediately, the on-site fire fighting and rescue force (Ta Nang village) mobilized the community forest protection team with the support of villagers and tools such as hoes, shovels, and machetes, under the command of the village chief and local forest rangers.

However, due to dry weather and strong winds, the fire spread rapidly. The available forces and means were not enough to control the fire, so the Ta Nang village chief reported to the District Chief and Chairman of the Nam Xe Commune People's Committee, and requested additional support forces.
The forces coordinated the use of chainsaws, blowers, hammers, hoes, shovels, machetes, tree branches, and shoulder-mounted water sprayers to participate in firefighting and rescue. After more than an hour of deploying firefighting plans, the fire was controlled and completely extinguished.

At the experience review session, delegates assessed that the forces participating in the exercise had followed the program and scenario correctly, responding promptly to the actual situation. The coordination between the participating forces also ensured requirements and effectiveness. This was an opportunity to enhance the leadership and command role in forest fire prevention and fighting, as well as search and rescue. At the same time, it also helped to assess the coordination between the forces, thereby developing effective response plans and strategies when forest fires occur.
