National Economics University Admission Plan 2025
As planned, the National Economics University plans to enroll 73 majors for 89 programs, including two new programs: Labor Relations and International Trade Law. The school plans to enroll once a year, between June and August 2025, and will have a separate announcement for candidates and parents to know.
Regarding admission methods, according to the newly announced project, in 2025, the National Economics University will maintain 3 stable admission methods: direct admission, high school graduation exam results and combined admission.
Direct admission is applied to students belonging to one of the following groups: policy beneficiaries, directly admitted according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; third prize or higher in national excellent student competitions; first prize or higher in national science and technology competitions.

The school considers the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam with 4 groups, including A00 (math, physics, chemistry), A01 (math, physics, English), D01 (math, literature, English), D07 (math, chemistry, English); there is no difference between the admission groups. The threshold to ensure input quality (floor score) remains the same as last year, at 20 points, including priority points.
Candidates who are eligible for direct admission but do not use it will be given 1-2 extra points when applying for admission using their graduation exam scores.
Combined admission (according to the school's admission plan), for three groups of candidates. Group 1 is for those with international SAT certificates from 1200/1600 or ACT 26/36 or higher. Group 2 is for candidates with the results of the competency assessment test of Hanoi National University (HAS), Ho Chi Minh City National University (APT), thinking assessment of Hanoi University of Science and Technology; in which the minimum is 85/150 HSA, 700/1200 APT or 60/100 TSA. Candidates can apply for admission based on the test results alone or in combination with international English certificates such as IELTS from 5.5, TOEFL iBT 46 or higher. Group 3 is for candidates with an English certificate combined with graduation exam scores in math and another subject. Certificate conditions are similar to group 2.

In 2025, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics plans to have 5 admission methods. The methods applied at the Ho Chi Minh City campus include: Direct admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; considering candidates who graduated from foreign high school programs combined with international certificates; Considering candidates with good academic results; Considering the scores of the competency assessment test combined with international English certificates; Considering the scores of the high school graduation exam.
For Vinh Long branch, the school plans to consider additional V-SAT exam scores.
Admission plan of Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City in 2025
In 2025, Ho Chi Minh City Banking University plans to have 3 main admission methods. Specifically: Considering high school graduation exam scores; Comprehensive admission; Considering V-SAT exam scores.
In particular, this year's comprehensive admission method is based on the high school academic scores of 6 semesters according to subject combinations (previously, only the scores of 3 semesters were considered).

Ho Chi Minh City Open University maintains the same admission methods as 2024. In particular, the group of methods according to the general regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and according to the school's own project are as follows:
Method 1: Direct admission according to regulations
Method 2: Admission based on high school graduation exam results in 2025.
Method 3: Consider candidates with international certificates such as IB from 26 points or higher, A-Level from C or higher in each subject, or SAT from 1,100 points or higher
Method 4: Consider candidates with good academic results and good training results in high school years, with international language certificates;

Lac Hong University Admission Plan 2025
In 2025, Lac Hong University will reserve 20% for high school graduation exam scores, 10% for school capacity assessment, Ho Chi Minh City National University and V-SAT.
The subject group for graduation exam scores must also include math or literature with the assessment weight accounting for at least 1/3 of the total score as proposed by the Ministry.
Yersin University Dalat
In 2025, the School plans to recruit 1,756 students for 17 majors with 3 admission methods, including:
Method 1: Consider high school graduation exam scores (55 - 60% of total quota)
Method 2: Consider the assessment test scores of Ho Chi Minh City National University (5 – 10%)
Method 3: Review of academic records (35 – 40%).
In the high school transcript review method, the school plans to use the average score of grade 12 according to the subject combination or the graduation score of the candidate. The subject combinations will be based on the subjects of math, literature, English, and at the same time, add subject combinations with technology, economic education and law to consider admission for suitable majors.
