Vice Chairwoman of Trung Gia Commune People's Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh Huyen said that the commune government has directed forces to coordinate with Hanoi Police to deploy working groups, directly go to 15 villages and 2 schools, urgently implement support plans, contributing to minimizing damage to people and property.

Trung Gia A Primary School is one of two schools that were heavily flooded, with all classrooms and functional rooms submerged in nearly 1 meter of water. The Logistics Department and the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department mobilized 80 officers and soldiers, 1 fire truck and 6 high-capacity pumps to pump water, clean the entire campus, and clean teaching equipment. The school has given students 3 days off, and it is expected that on October 13, students in non-isolated areas will return to school to study normally.

In residential areas, the Traffic Police, Mobile Police, Commune Police and Youth Union members of the City Police directly went to each household to help clean up houses, move and rearrange property, collect and classify waste, clear sewers, clean mud and dirt on roads, communal houses, pagodas, etc.

Although the response and recovery work for storm No. 11 has been carried out for the past 4 days, officers and soldiers of the Capital Police still do not mind the hardship, wading through mud and rain for many hours continuously to help people in the spirit of "serving the people".
