Many suburban communes and wards launched campaigns to support people affected by storms and floods.

On the morning of October 13, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the communes and wards of Doai Phuong, Tung Thien, and Son Tay organized a campaign to support people affected by storms No. 10 and No. 11.

In Doai Phuong commune: Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Doai Phuong commune, Phung Thi Thanh, emphasized that promoting the tradition of "Mutual love and affection", "The healthy leaves cover the torn leaves" and responding to the call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the commune called on agencies, units, enterprises, schools, villages, organizations, unions and all cadres, civil servants, employees and people in the commune to join hands to support people to overcome the consequences caused by storms No. 10 and 11.

Individuals in the commune can contribute a day's salary, a portion of their income, or essential necessities such as rice, noodles, drinking water, clothes, blankets, etc. Every sharing, every contribution, no matter how big or small, is a great source of encouragement to help people in flood-affected areas ease their difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, the leaders of Doai Phuong commune and many officers and employees of agencies directly participated in donating a total of 9.8 million VND.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Doai Phuong commune also issued an official dispatch calling for support to overcome the consequences of damage caused by storms No. 10 and 11. It called on agencies, units, organizations, businesses, philanthropists and all people inside and outside the commune to join hands to support both materially and spiritually, to help households affected by storms No. 10 and 11 to soon stabilize their lives.

In Tung Thien ward: Tung Thien ward called on all cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, workers of agencies, units and people in the ward to promote the spirit of solidarity, mutual love; actively donate and support people in localities suffering heavy consequences of natural disasters, helping people to soon overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

The Education Department of Tung Thien Ward also called on all cadres, teachers, staff and students to actively respond to the movement to support, donate and help people in the Northern provinces and schools and educational institutions in Hanoi affected by storms No. 10 and No. 11, with practical items such as: Food, food, utensils, learning equipment, books, textbooks, clothes, blankets, mosquito nets, etc.

In Son Tay ward: Son Tay ward organized a fundraising movement to support flood victims with the spirit of "mutual love and support", "helping each other"; calling on cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, workers and people in the area to join hands to help people quickly overcome the consequences of natural disasters, stabilize their lives and restore production.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, all cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of Son Tay ward donated a total of 45.82 million VND. The entire amount will be sent by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Son Tay ward to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi city to promptly transfer to localities affected by storms and floods. The program demonstrates the spirit of solidarity, affection and responsibility of cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees and people of Son Tay ward towards the people in the flood-affected areas, contributing to spreading profound humanistic values ​​in the community.
