According to Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Home Affairs Nguyen Tay Nam, organizing the Yen Hoa Ward Job Consultation and Transaction Day is one of the solutions to promote the development of the labor market, especially to support businesses and workers in the area and neighboring areas. This is not only an opportunity to connect workers with businesses, production and business establishments, training facilities, but also a good opportunity for young workers to access the labor market, be provided with information on the labor market to learn, equip themselves with basic skills and knowledge, the ability to adapt to fluctuations in the labor market, and gain experience when accessing the labor market.

In addition to job transactions and direct job interviews between businesses and employees, the Organizing Committee also conducts consulting activities, providing information on the labor market, labor export, vocational training consulting, job search skills consulting, labor market participation skills, and sharing information related to legal policies for employees.
Vice Chairman of Yen Hoa Ward People's Committee Nguyen Minh Cuong said: The Yen Hoa Ward Job Consultation and Transaction Festival in 2025 has 30 units and enterprises participating in recruitment, bringing 1,035 job opportunities. The recruitment quota with very diverse qualifications, from general labor to university, creates a bridge to help general laborers and students get advice, recruitment, and job search. This is a good opportunity for the young workforce to be equipped with more basic skills and knowledge, and gain more experience when approaching the labor market.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Anh, a personal customer development specialist at Vietnam Maritime Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MSB) said: “At the Yen Hoa Ward Job Consultation and Transaction Fair, MSB Bank needs to recruit the following positions: Transaction officer; personal customer development specialist; priority customer relationship specialist. During the fair, many people were interested in learning about the positions, we gave them thoughtful and detailed advice.”
According to Ms. Nguyen Thuy Linh, Head of Communications Department of Song Hong Tourism and Trade Company Limited, the Company is recruiting 53 positions, including 40 direct labor positions (drivers, auto repairmen); more than 10 positions are office staff, including 2 managers. The salary for the positions ranges from 9 to 20 million VND/month.
“The job fair has given the company many opportunities to meet with candidates and has found a number of potential candidates with standards that are relatively suitable for the recruitment criteria. After being recruited, the employees will be trained by the company in expertise and soft skills, placing them in suitable positions, the right person, the right job so that the employees can maximize their capacity,” Ms. Nguyen Thuy Linh shared.

Nguyen Van Tung, a final year student at Hanoi Industrial Vocational College, said: “I was introduced to the Yen Hoa Ward Job Consultation and Transaction Day by a lecturer at the school, so I came to learn more about it to orient my future after graduation. I am interested in the position of sales staff. I have been introduced to some companies very clearly about the company's recruitment needs as well as specific requirements for employees in terms of work and qualifications, which helps me feel more confident about my job search opportunities.”
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hanh, lecturer of the Training Management Department (Hanoi Community College) - who directly brought 20 graduating students to the Yen Hoa Ward Job Consultation and Transaction Day, shared: “I find the scale of the organization very systematic, appropriate, meaningful, and practical for job seekers, especially students, because when they come here, they are consulted in depth about the fields. My school regularly brings students to these sessions so that they can exchange, learn, and improve their understanding of the profession. The students participating in the event are also very excited, often interested in the fields of electricity, information technology, business administration, accounting…”.

Ms. Truong Cam Trang, from Long Bien ward, came to register for the recruitment and said: “I have a job but want to change the environment, so I came here with the hope of finding an office job, with a salary of 10-12 million VND. I saw many recruiting units, they happily welcomed me, were ready to advise me and I felt that when I came here, I saw many job opportunities.”

According to the Organizing Committee, the job fair is very meaningful, but it is not the only opportunity for workers to find suitable jobs for themselves. At the Hanoi Employment Service Center (No. 215 Trung Kinh, Yen Hoa Ward, Hanoi), there are job fairs every day and each year, the Center organizes 250-260 sessions, in which, all sessions are online interviews to Job Fair locations in the city, some sessions also connect and interview online to some provinces and cities in the Red River Delta.
In addition, in the coming time, other communes and wards in the city will continue to organize mobile job fairs, creating more job opportunities for workers.
