With 9.75 points in Chemistry, 9.5 points in Biology and 8.8 points in Math, Tran Thanh Tam, class 12A1, High School No. 1, Van Ban district, excellently became the valedictorian of block B00. Including bonus points, Thanh Tam achieved 28.25 points and her wish is to be admitted to Hanoi Medical University. This result is a source of pride for her, her family, friends and teachers.
Tran Thanh Tam shared: "When I found out I was valedictorian, I was very surprised. I couldn't believe it was true and I read the teacher's message over and over again. I was very happy because my mother could be proud of me. In the future, I want to become a doctor so I can treat many people."
Sharing about her student Thanh Tam, teacher Nguyen Thi Hong, High School No. 1, Van Ban district said: "During her studies, Tam determined from the beginning that she would take the B exam. However, she still studied other subjects, including social subjects such as Literature, History, Geography or subjects in the A group, very seriously and responsibly."

Dang Mai Ly, Lao Cai High School for the Gifted, also became the valedictorian of block D01 when she excellently achieved a score of 10 in English, 9.5 in Literature and 8.6 in Math. With this result, Ly is confident in being admitted to Foreign Trade University. Sharing her study secrets, Ly said that self-study awareness and having a scientific study plan are the reasons for her success.
"My exam preparation journey spans the entire school year. That means I don't concentrate on a single period of time but accumulate knowledge day by day. I will allocate time for each subject and not focus on one subject. I mainly study by myself and teachers and friends share knowledge," Ly added.

Along with the 2 excellent valedictorians above, in the 2024 High School Graduation Exam, Lao Cai has 3 valedictorians of group C00 with 29 points; 1 valedictorian of group A00 with 28.25 points; 1 valedictorian of group A01 with 27.6 points.
