On the afternoon of January 18th, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, and the Provincial People's Committee held a meeting to extend New Year greetings to businesses with 100% foreign direct investment (FDI) in the province in preparation for the upcoming Lunar New Year of the Snake 2025. Comrade Dang Thanh Giang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; other members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; leaders of the Provincial People's Council and People's Committee; and leaders of several departments and agencies attended and offered their congratulations.
At the meeting, Comrade Lai Van Hoan, Provincial Party Committee member and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, provided an overview of the province's socio -economic development and investment attraction activities in 2024. The province's economic growth rate (GRDP) in 2024 is projected at 7.01%, ranking 23rd out of 63 provinces and cities in terms of economic size. Total state budget revenue reached over 28,000 billion VND, achieving 144% of the projected target and increasing by 15.7% compared to 2023; of which, domestic revenue reached 11,578.9 billion VND, achieving 134.5% of the projected target and increasing by 18%, marking the second consecutive year that domestic revenue exceeded 11,000 billion VND. The province attracted over 43,000 billion VND in investment capital, including 1.16 billion USD in FDI, ranking 12th out of 63 provinces and cities nationwide...

On the occasion of preparing to enter the Lunar New Year of the Snake 2025, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, and the Provincial People's Committee, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee wished FDI enterprises new successes; each enterprise should focus on exploiting the potential and strengths of the province and the enterprise to develop, cooperate in investment to expand production and accompany and support the province in attracting investment. They should also effectively implement the directives of the Provincial People's Committee on ensuring security and order, fire prevention and control, environmental protection, and social welfare for workers, so that together with Thai Binh , they can celebrate the Lunar New Year of the Snake 2025 in a joyful and happy manner.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that the provincial Party Committee and government will always stand alongside and create all favorable conditions for the FDI business community to invest, produce, and conduct business effectively and sustainably.

Representatives from several FDI enterprises shared their investment, production, and business performance results, as well as their perceptions of the province's innovative and improved investment and business environment. The FDI enterprises also expressed gratitude for the timely support and encouragement from the provincial Party committee and government, which facilitated their investment, production, and business operations. They also hoped to continue receiving attention and assistance from all levels and sectors in the future.
