Meeting with female workers in the Industry and Trade sector.

On October 17th, the Trade Union of the Industry and Trade Sector held the 2023 Meeting of Women Workers in the Industry and Trade Sector.

Attending the conference were representatives from the Propaganda and Women's Affairs Department of the Provincial Labor Union, the Department of Industry and Trade, and nearly 100 female workers, laborers, and female officials working at grassroots trade unions under the Industry and Trade sector.

Currently, the entire Industry and Trade sector has 1,966 female workers (accounting for 42.3% of the total workforce) participating in 55 affiliated grassroots trade unions. Over the years, women in the Industry and Trade sector have always been ready to overcome difficulties, demonstrating a positive, proactive, and creative spirit in their professional work, and making contributions to the strong and comprehensive development of the sector.

At the same time, they actively participate in patriotic emulation movements, preserving and promoting the pure qualities of female cadres, workers, and civil servants in the industry. Many of them have achieved the title of "Excellent in national affairs, competent in household affairs" and have been commended by various levels and sectors.

At the conference, delegates reviewed the historical traditions of the founding day of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20th); they also participated in cultural performances, quizzes, and a prize draw.

Here, the Trade Union of the Industry and Trade sector also coordinated with Medlatec Dak Lak Co., Ltd. to organize cancer screening for women through blood tests; and collaborated with the Provincial Center for Disease Control to provide advice on women's reproductive health and gynecological diseases...

This activity commemorates the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20, 1930 – October 20, 2023); and is a practical way to welcome the 11th Congress of the Dak Lak Provincial Trade Union, term 2023 - 2028.
