On the evening of January 30th, the Hanoi Department of Tourism organized the "Get on Hanoi 2026 - A Green Journey" program, marking the beginning of the tourism year with a green and sustainable development message.

"The Green Journey" is not just a message for a tourist season, but also clearly reflects Hanoi's strategic direction in building the image of a "safe - friendly - high-quality - attractive" destination.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Tran Trung Hieu, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Tourism, said that the "Green Tourism Journey" that Hanoi tourism is pursuing is also a journey of responsibility - responsibility to our ancestral heritage, to the living environment today, and to future generations.

This journey also reflects the belief that Hanoi can absolutely become a leading destination for green tourism, cultural tourism, and experiential tourism linked to historical, cultural, and artistic values in the region.

In the coming period, Hanoi's tourism will focus on developing in a green, circular, and sustainable direction, strengthening regional linkages, international cooperation, digital transformation, and placing the experience and satisfaction of tourists at the center.

By 2026, Hanoi aims to attract over 35.8 million visitors, including over 8.6 million international tourists. Total revenue from tourism is projected to exceed 160,000 billion VND.
