With a history spanning over a century, Hang Luoc flower market has long been an indispensable highlight in the Tet (Lunar New Year) scene of Hanoi . More than just a place to buy and sell flowers and decorations, the market is also a space that preserves memories, where generations of Hanoians rediscover the flavors of Tet of yesteryear through each peach blossom branch, kumquat tree, or simple handcrafted item.
Continuing and building upon those traditional values, the Hang Luoc Spring Flower Fair in 2026 will be expanded in scale, with a refreshed venue, offering a more vibrant and attractive appearance while still preserving the spirit of the traditional Tet holiday.

This year's fair brings together more than 200 stalls, with a diverse range of products such as: fresh flowers, ornamental plants, Tet decorations, food , confectionery, consumer goods, handicrafts, antiques, etc., meeting the shopping, sightseeing, and experiential needs of Hanoi residents as well as domestic and international tourists.
The market space is vibrant with colors, blending the fragrance of spring flowers with the bustling atmosphere characteristic of the days leading up to Tet, creating a picture of Hanoi that is both lively and nostalgic.

Present at the flower market during the first days of the fair, Ms. Nguyen Thu Ha (Ba Dinh, Hanoi) shared that every year her family takes the time to visit Hang Luoc to buy a small peach blossom branch and experience the Tet atmosphere of the old town.
"Going to Hang Luoc flower market isn't just about buying flowers; it's like a habit for Hanoians. I love the feeling of strolling around the street, admiring the peach blossoms and kumquats, listening to the bustling sounds of buyers and sellers, and taking photos of the spring season. Just looking at it makes me feel like Tet is very near," said Ms. Ha.
Besides buying and selling, the fair also offers a space to experience Tet culture with spring-themed decorations, market strolls, photo opportunities, and the chance to feel the traditional Tet atmosphere in the heart of the old town.
In particular, the Phung Hung area, with its distinctive arched bridge system, will become a connecting point for traditional cultural activities such as requesting calligraphy from a traditional calligrapher, playing giant horse racing board games, etc., contributing to a seamless and attractive spring stroll for participants.

Through organizing the traditional Hang Luoc Spring Flower Fair in 2026, the Organizing Committee hopes to preserve the beauty of Hanoi's Tet flower market, while also connecting the community and supporting small traders, artisans, and businesses during the peak season at the end of the year.
The fair promises to become an unmissable cultural, tourism , and shopping destination in the capital city ahead of the 2026 Lunar New Year, contributing to spreading the image of a simple, refined, and culturally rich Hanoi Tet.
